Transway’s Cashier Station is used to automatically manage and collect cash and credit from drivers, conductors and couriers. It quickly and accurately determines how much money the driver, conductor, or courier needs to pay, and limits the maximum amount of cash that they are permitted to hold during defined and specific time periods. In addition to the Cashier Station, there is also a Main Cashier Station that has additional permissions. It is used to deal with discrepancies and can override the Cashier Station, or perform certain activities that the Cashier Station is unable to perform. It can be managed as a separate physical station, or by the permissions that the user at the station holds.

The Cashier Station is precise and accurate, and provides real time information regarding what each driver owes to the transit company. The system tracks the employee and actually controls how much money they can hold, ultimately causing them to bring money to the Cashier Station. The Cashier Station uses multiple communication technologies, including the Data Communication Unit (DCU) and cellular technology, in order to receive information about the drivers, conductors and couriers and how much is owed by each.

The Cashier Station serves as a courier task management system, and performs deposit management for the entire organization.
